Product description
A rosewood dining chair by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik, produced in Denmark in the 1960s. The chair is spacious and comfortable.
The chair has organically shaped frames made of the finest teak. The frame has good dovetail joints and characteristic Danish details. Minor signs of wear and repair.

The furniture was left outside on a dry, sunny day for the sole purpose of photographing.
Andersen's designs are characterized by organic, almost animal-like shapes. He designed for many well-known Danish furniture manufacturers, such as Uldum and Silkeborg. Along with Aage Schmidt-Kristensen, Niels Moller, Ib Kofoed Larssen, Poul Cadovius, Kai Kristiansen, and Arne Vodder, he belonged to the Second Danish School.
The frame is in great condition. The original cognac leather upholstery shows signs of use but is still clean.
