Elegant porcelain vase from the Rosenthal Studio-Line, designed by the French artist and illustrator Alain Le Foll. This piece reflects the artistic direction of Rosenthal during the late 1960s and 1970s, when the Studio-Line program invited international artists to experiment with porcelain as a medium for contemporary design.
The vase is crafted from fine white porcelain and decorated with a delicate floral composition in gold and soft grey tones. Stylized blossoms and botanical elements wrap around the body in a refined graphic rhythm, creating a harmonious balance between ornament and form. The slightly curved silhouette gives the piece a sculptural presence while maintaining an understated elegance.
Alain Le Foll (1934–1981) was a celebrated French illustrator and designer known for his poetic interpretations of nature. His work often explored botanical themes through stylized forms and subtle color palettes. Collaborations with Rosenthal allowed him to translate his graphic language into porcelain, resulting in pieces that combine artistic illustration with high-quality German porcelain craftsmanship.
