Rosenthal Suomi tableware from the Studio Line, designed by Timo Sarpaneva in the 1960s and 1970s, is an iconic example of Scandinavian design. Crafted from hard porcelain, the tableware is sleek, timeless, and elegant.
Sarpaneva's creation achieved the highest recognition with his Suomi ("Finland") porcelain complete tableware, which took him four years to create. Initially finding the concept too simple, the German company Rosenthal launched the tableware in its "studio line" in 1976. Originally all-white, this modern classic with softly rounded corners was included in the permanent collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris as an example of contemporary design.
The design is inspired by water-worn pebbles and rocks, with flowing, rounded shapes that convey a natural and harmonious feel.
Important: The set is in perfect condition, barely used, and can only be picked up or delivered (up to 100 km) to avoid the risk of breakage.

The dinnerware is currently packed in three boxes. Upon request, it can be displayed at a designated pickup time, allowing you to examine the pieces at your leisure before being repacked.
Practical information:
To prevent breakage, the dinnerware is not shipped via parcel service. Pickup is preferred, but personal delivery is possible within a 50–100 km radius of Oostvleteren for €0.35/km (round trip; for example, 100 km = €70). Payment can be made in cash or via Payconiq by prior arrangement.
