Elegant, slender solifleur vase in white glazed porcelain from Rosenthal Studio-Line. The "Quatre Couleurs" design is by the Danish artist and designer Bjørn Wiinblad and was created in the 1960s.
The asymmetrical composition around the vase's body features a whimsical figure with a bird, a small pagoda, and stylized floral, foliate, and peacock motifs. The name "Quatre Couleurs" refers to the different gold tones and effects of the intricate decoration.
The underside is fully marked: Rosenthal Germany, Quatre Couleurs, signature Bjørn Wiinblad, Studio-Line, and number 1653.
Very good vintage condition. No visible chips, cracks, or restorations. The gold decoration is very beautiful and largely intact. Only slight age-related wear is present on the unglazed foot ring.
