Presented here is an original Rosenthal Studio-Line Künstler-Sammeldose (artist collectible box), No. 2, designed by B. Doege. Conceived as part of Rosenthal’s celebrated series of artist-designed collectible boxes, this piece occupies the fertile intersection of functional object, sculptural form, and graphic composition.
The cylindrical porcelain body is encircled by a crisp, geometric frieze in bold yet balanced colours—turquoise, cobalt, ochre, black, green, and coral—while the lid becomes a small architectural landscape in itself.
