A rare sculptural lidded box from Rosenthal’s coveted *Stillleben* (“Still Life”) series, created in the 1980s by **Antje Brüggemann-Breckwoldt**, one of the most individual artistic voices of Rosenthal’s later Studio Line period.
This example is particularly exceptional: an unused factory sample preserved in its original Rosenthal packaging. Such uncirculated pieces are exceedingly scarce, especially within Studio Line’s sculptural collections.
The box showcases Brüggemann-Breckwoldt’s distinctive formal language—draped, textile-like reliefs travelling across the surface, crowned by a delicately modelled fruit element on the lid. The matte white porcelain heightens the sculptural presence, transforming functional storage into a small still-life sculpture. The interior rim retains the characteristic unglazed firing edge, a hallmark of handcrafted Studio Line precision.
