Rosenthal Classic Rose – Vase (Model 4010/24) and Matching Decorated Plate – White Porcelain with Multicolour Flora & Gold Rim – 1980s Germany
A beautifully preserved duo from the Rosenthal Group’s Classic Rose line, produced in the 1980s and characterised by its finely detailed, colourful floral-and-bird pattern accented with gold. These pieces belong to the period in which Rosenthal reinterpreted traditional European porcelain motifs with a contemporary lightness, maintaining their hallmark standards of thin-walled, high-fire porcelain.
The vase (model 4010/24) features an elegant, bulbous shape and is fully decorated in the Classic Rose pattern, with stylised blossoms, foliage, and fantastical birds in bright pastels outlined in fine gold. The plate echoes the same décor and is finished with a polished gold rim. Both pieces carry the Classic Rose Rosenthal Group mark. The items come from a private collection where they were kept unused in a glass cabinet; condition is immaculate, with no marks, cracks, wear, or fading. The pattern remains crisp and vibrant.
