Comfortable and visually striking rocking chair produced in Czechoslovakia, attributed to Krásná jizba / ULUV, dating from the 1960s–1970s.
The chair features a solid wooden rocking construction with elegant, flowing lines and a well-balanced profile. Its form reflects the human-centred modernism typical of post-war Czechoslovak furniture design, combining functionality, comfort, and restrained elegance.
The upholstery is finished in a geometric textile by Romo. The wooden structure remains in original condition, stable and fully functional. The upholstery shows visible signs of use consistent with age, yet remains in good usable condition and retains its aesthetic appeal.
A very comfortable and timeless piece, suitable for both everyday use and curated interiors focused on Central European mid-century design.
