Ripples, winner of the 2004 Compasso d'Or, is made of plywood composed of five different solid woods: running your hand across the surface, the transition from walnut to mahogany, cherry, oak, and ash is imperceptible. The enveloping, expertly carved seats are hand-finished to produce an elegant polychrome effect, thanks to the wood's flexibility. A true icon of international design, Ripples is a bench suitable for both residential and commercial settings, as well as public spaces.
Seat made of multi-layered plywood in five different wood species (black walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak, and ash). Internal metal reinforcement. Multi-layered legs edged and veneered in black walnut (exterior) and beech (interior). Lower panel in multi-layered birch plywood veneered in beech, hot-bent. Vegetable oil finish. Adjustable feet.
