An original coffee table model 535, better known as the "Mug" or "Musquito," designed by Wim Rietveld in 1953 for Gispen.
Original Dutch design from the 1950s.
Designer: Wim Rietveld (son of Gerrit Rietveld)
Manufacturer: Gispen
Diameter approx. 70 cm, height approx. 48–50 cm.
Glass top, light gray metal bottom/platform.
Minimalist light gray tubular steel frame with rubber feet.
Condition:
Excellent condition, glass with normal, light signs of wear, complete with intact leg feet and glass support rubber feet.
This table is a true design icon, beloved by collectors of mid-century modern and Dutch design.
