Richly decorated antique brass ink set in neo-Baroque Napoleon III style. It features two inkwells with hinged lids and an ornamental back panel with a mascaron. The inkwells have no inner bowl/base and are therefore decorative. This heavy desk object from the late 19th century has a beautiful, weathered patina.
