Beautiful original Rhytmic ceiling lamp, designed by Milanda Havlová for Vest Leuchten, Austria. This sculptural lamp is one of the most characteristic designs of Eastern European modernism from the 1970s. Thanks to the layered plastic slats, a beautiful interplay of light and shadow is created, while the lamp reveals a different silhouette from every angle. The design combines functionality with a distinct architectural form. The lamp is in very neat vintage condition. All visible outer plastic slats are complete, undamaged, and beautifully uniform in color, without significant discoloration. On the inside, two small plastic connecting slats are missing. This is not visible during normal use or from the outside and has no noticeable effect on the sturdiness or stability of the lamp. The construction is solid and fully functional. Originally, this model was designed as a ceiling lamp, but, as shown in the image, it can also be used perfectly as a pendant lamp.
Dimensions are as follows: height 35 cm, diameter 45 cm.
Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
