Six pieces of the famous REX folding chair by Slovenian designer Niko Kralj (1920-2013). The REX design dates back to 1953 and is considered one of the design classics of the twentieth century. The chair is featured in museums in New York and Copenhagen, among others. The REX is still being produced, but the productions from the sixties and seventies, made of layered beech wood, are highly sought after by enthusiasts of post-war minimalist furniture designs.
This set of six is in very good condition. The wood shows hardly any discoloration. The construction of all six is sturdy. Folding is easy.
The asking price is 100 per chair or 575 euros for all six.
