Pagwood / Galvanitas (school) chairs in beautiful condition. The chairs provide excellent back support; they feature a strong sled frame with beautiful metal loop legs and a wooden seat. Some signs of use on the frame, but otherwise in beautiful condition.

This industrial stacking chair S23 in Pagwood by Galvanitas was designed in the 1970s in the style of famous industrial designs by Wim Rietveld, Jean Prouvé, and Friso Kramer, based on a 'pyramid' or 'compass' principle. This sculptural chair is comfortable and heavy. The Pagwood seat is made of high-density veneer or resin composite and is shock-, scratch-, break-, and weather-resistant, and even resistant to cigarette burns. The frame is made of folded sheet steel with a sliding rod. The design of the chair legs makes it easy to stack several of them. The metal frame is black and the seat has a strong brown wood grain.
