This restored Bauhaus armchair with matching footstool was produced by Mücke-Melder in the Czech Republic during the 1930s. The design exemplifies the functionalist elegance of the era, featuring a continuous tubular steel frame that provides a distinctive cantilevered silhouette. The set is constructed from polished tubular steel, complemented by black wooden armrests. It has been newly upholstered in a striking black and white geometric patterned textile, offering a crisp contrast to the metallic frame. The armchair and footstool together create a cohesive seating arrangement that highlights the innovative use of materials characteristic of early 20th-century modernist design. Both pieces are in excellent restored condition, with the steel frames polished to a high shine and the upholstery completely renewed. The wooden armrests retain a smooth, original finish, contributing to the set's overall pristine appearance. The Armchair Measures 58 Cm in Width, 83 Cm in Height and 63 Cm in Depth, Seat Hight 41 Cm. The Stool Measures 57 Cm in Width, 42 Cm in Height, and 48 Cm in Depth.
