This Bauhaus armchair by Mücke-Melder represents a classic example of 1930s Czech modernist design. A popular type of Mücke-Melder spring chair (type Fn 24) in a rarely seen elevated version. The piece features a distinctive cantilevered silhouette that defines the era's approach to functional elegance and structural innovation. The chair is constructed with a continuous tubular chrome frame that provides both support and a subtle springing effect.
