A Repurposed Classic With a Contemporary Soul.
This designer chair has been reupholstered in a high-quality 90% wool bouclé fabric - rich in texture, soft in tone and durable in use. The slender frame has been repainted in a warm rust red color, giving the stainless steel frame a warm, contemporary look.
This object is part of my practice as a designer/maker: I give new life to used design pieces that are in danger of disappearing into oblivion. Not by returning them to an exact state of origin, but by making them usable and attractive again for life today.
