Product description
Renate Müller originally designed her therapeutic toy for children's homes and children's hospitals in the GDR. After the fall of communism, a New York gallery owner became aware of the rupee animals and made the objects known in the USA. In 2012, the stuffed animals were even presented at the New York Museum of Modern Art in the “Century of the Child” exhibition. Since then, Renate Müller Rupentier's design objects have been sought after around the world. Good used condition. The ears are frayed.
