Large Art Deco style spelter statue "The Draped Dancer" with a metallic black patina on a black plaster base by Alexsander Danel, produced by Austin Productions in 1990.
Born in 1940 (Estonia) – died in 2001
Trained in Moscow (Schools of Industrial Arts and Academy of Fine Arts)
Worked in Europe (notably in Rome, set design for film and theater)
Emigrated to the United States in the 1970s
Settled in New York and completed major commissions (Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City Music Hall)
Became the principal sculptor for Austin Productions in the 1980s and 90s
