For sale is an original, 12-light Chandelier, designed by the Swedish designers Uno & Östen Kristiansson for the premium manufacturer Luxus (Vittsjö) in 1951. This extra-large version with 12 arms is extremely rare to find on the market and a real eye-catcher. The iconic design impresses with its organically curved structure made of warm teak wood and the elegant, conical shades made of matte opal glass (milk glass), which create a warm, diffused light. Condition & Details Designer: Uno & Östen Kristiansson Manufacturer: Luxus Vittsjö (Sweden, 1951 model) Version: Rare, large variant with 12 light sources (total diameter approx. 83 cm, glass shade height approx. 21.5 cm) Material: Teak wood, opal glass Condition: Excellent, flawless vintage condition. The wood is perfectly maintained and shows no significant flaws. All 12 original glass shades are completely intact (no cracks, breaks or chips). The electrics are functional. A timeless collector's item in exceptional condition, which is hardly available in this quality anymore. Due to its size and the delicate glass shades, pickup is preferred.
