A beautiful, iconic vintage design vase by the renowned German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik from the 1960s/70s. This features the highly sought-after and recognizable 'Kosmos' relief decor (also known as 'Sputnik' by enthusiasts due to the geometric star and atomic motifs). The vase is finished in a deep, glossy fiery red glaze with contrasting black accents in the relief. A true eye-catcher in a Mid-Century Modern or retro interior! The vase is in absolutely perfect vintage condition, completely intact, without chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. The interior is glazed dark blue/black. Model number: 263-21 (21 cm high).
