Descrizione; "Luxury" An incredibly rare and architecturally significant Italian Mid-Century Modern column drawer unit, originally designed by the visionary duo Roberto Gabetti and Aimaro Isola (alongside Luciano Re and Guido Drocco) for the iconic "Talponia" residential complex (Unità Residenziale Ovest) commissioned by Olivetti in Ivrea, Italy (1969). Manufactured in a small series by ARBO, this piece is an extraordinary example of Italian Radical and Space Age design history. The cabinet features a sleek vertical frame clad in crisp white Formica laminate, accented by six perfectly aligned drawers with oversized, contrasting black spherical knobs. Raised on its original chrome-plated metal spherical ball casters for effortless mobility, it balances playful geometric shapes with clean modernist functionality. An open lower display compartment provides practical versatility. Given its prestigious origin linked to the UNESCO-protected Olivetti architectural legacy, this chest of drawers stands as an exceptional sculptural statement piece for elite mid-century collections or contemporary interiors.
