This rare set of four red glass pendant lights was crafted in the 1970s by the renowned German manufacturer Peill & Putzler. Their striking silhouette and vibrant color make these lights a highly sought-after example of European mid-century design.
The shades are made of high-quality, colored glass in an intense red hue, creating a powerful visual presence whether the lights are on or off. The stepped design at the top gives the lights a sculptural quality. The original sockets and suspensions are intact, documenting their authentic provenance from the production era.
The lights are in very good condition (see photo; the dent affects only one light) and reflect the careful handling they have received over the decades. Some of the original manufacturer's labels are still present, confirming the authenticity of this set.
