Product description
A striking pair of sculptural lounge chairs from Italy, dating to the 1960s. Cast in concrete, the design is defined by its generous circular seat, dramatically angled shell and four architectural legs, creating a bold interplay between organic curves and geometric structure.
The warm ochre-yellow surface has developed a beautiful natural patina, adding depth and character to the sculptural forms. Particularly compelling from every angle, the chairs have a strong architectural presence and work equally well as functional seating or as sculptural objects within an interior.
A distinctive example of experimental Italian design from the 1960s, combining strong proportions, organic form and an expressive sense of construction.
Condition
