An incredible pair of original 1950s table lamps, the pinnacle of Italian Mid-Century Modern design. This set is rare, having been originally conceived as a mirrored pair (left and right), a design conceived to offer perfect visual and functional symmetry on bedside tables, console tables, or executive desks.
Features and Construction Value:
Frame: Elegant curved arm in solid brass with an authentic patina.
Lampshades: Domed, enameled aluminum in the iconic and sophisticated powder blue (summer paper).
Light Effect: The lampshades feature the characteristic perforation on the back, which, when the lamp is turned on, projects a striking "constellation" pattern onto the wall, a detail typical of elite productions attributed to Stilnovo or Arredoluce.
Base: Each lamp retains its original heavy cast iron internal ballast, a hallmark of high-quality craftsmanship that ensures stability and a premium feel. Electrical System and Condition: The lamps have been carefully preserved in their original condition.
Wiring: Original period electrical system with contemporary brown two-core cable. Controls: Both bases feature the original push-button panel, which is fully functional and integrated into the design.
