This original Erich Dieckmann Bauhaus armchair, made of beechwood and paper cord, was manufactured in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s.
Alongside Marcel Breuer, Erich Dieckmann is considered the most important furniture designer of the Bauhaus in Weimar and Dessau. The typical Dieckmann characteristics are clearly present. The chair is in good condition, with no damage to the wood.
With this piece, you acquire a design classic—here in the rare high-back version—that will underscore your exceptional taste in interior design.
