Incredible and rare design by Jean Gillon, the ‘Amazonas’ easy chair with ottoman in cognac leather, wood and metal, Brazil 1960s
A breathtaking design which was inspired by the markets and fishermen of Brazil, with a nylon ‘fishing net’ like knotted seat which hold the beautiful cognac leather cushions in the tubular metal and wooden frame. The warm tone of the wooden legs contrasts beautifully with the supple leather upholstery. The design is made to have amazing comfort, where you can sink in this chair and be “embraced” by the rope seat. This particular model is rarely found, making it a true collectors piece.
A conversation piece which will elevate any seating area!
