Raine Dangova 1945 In Macedonia.
She deliberately does not want to hide her affinity with the work of the greats she admires. Characteristics of style as in the work of Picasso or Max Ernst.
Because Dangova believes that style is only a means, just as paint and brush are means, and in that sense subordinate to the essence of the work, the message, the idea. In terms of content, her work is completely different, completely her own. This fascination is on the one hand the absurdity in which in social difference between men and women, on the other hand she believes that our future and our appearance were already "fixed" in that of our ancestors. On the one hand, the need to change the world, and on the other, the fatal realization that little can be changed.
Rajne Dangova lives and works in Switzerland.
