Rainer Daumiller is a furniture designer born in Germany who emigrated to Denmark in 1959. His sculptural wooden furniture represents Daumiller's love of natural materials and his connection to nature. The artist's work is strongly influenced by the ideas of the Austrian philosopher, social reformer, and architect Rudolf Steiner. Daumiller's work has enjoyed great popularity for some time now and is experiencing a remarkable renaissance.
The "Lovely" chair was designed by Daumiller together with Poultries Pedersen in the 1970s. The frame is made of solid pine, and the seat is upholstered in paper cord.
