Design details: The "Rails" candlestick from 1993 is made of thin stainless steel plates that are nested together to form a slightly curved shape.
Functionality: Each inserted candle adds tension to the structure, allowing it to bend more strongly and firmly clasp the others.
Recognition: The design is included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and other collections, as part of the Dutch Design movement.
