Offered is this iconic designer lamp by Raak
Model: C-1512.20, Glass Globe Smoke Violet.
Diameter 25 cm, projection 32 cm, max 60W
The design is by sculptor and industrial designer Frank Ligtelijn 1933 - 1996
In the early 1960s, he was active as a designer for Raak and designed numerous legendary lamps, including the 'Globe 2000'.
This lamp was a 'hit' (a great success) and marked the beginning of the distinctive Raak look.
In the style of this 'Globe' lamp, he also designed pendant, wall, and table lamps.
Characteristic of Raak are the beautiful, well-finished materials, such as the globe of the 'Globe', made of clear or smoked crystal glass sourced from the German company Peill & Putzler. Dimensions = D 32 cm x H 22 x D 25 cm
