A vintage Italian Space Age table lamp in white moulded acrylic and chrome, designed by Ufficio Progetti for Harvey Guzzini and produced in Italy, likely between circa 1968 and the early 1970s. The contrast between the opaline white shade and reflective metal creates a clean yet expressive presence, while the sculpted acrylic diffuses the light into a warm, atmospheric glow.Quadrifoglio translates from Italian as “four-leaf clover,” a reference reflected directly in the four-lobed form of the shade. The model was produced in several colours and as table, floor and pendant versions. Documentation records the project year as 1968, with Art. 4000 produced through the 1970s. Early examples from approximately 1968–1972 used three E14 lamp holders, while later production changed to a single E27 fitting. This example retains the three-lamp configuration, which supports an early-production dating of approximately 1968–1972.ConditionGood vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with its period. The original white acrylic shade shows light surface marks and a small localised indentation to one side, possibly caused by historic heat exposure. This is relatively subtle within the sculptural form of the shade and does not affect the lamp’s function. The chromed metal structure shows light age-related surface wear and patina, with some oxidation visible around the underside edge of the base. The lamp remains structurally sound and fully functional.
