Vintage purple Art Deco vase in the style of Luxval, made of pressed glass, unmarked, 1930s, Belgium.
This vase is made of pressed glass. Pressed glass typically has small imperfections, glass lines, and small air bubbles. These are not considered damage but rather a way to demonstrate authenticity.
In the 1930s, vases by Val Saint Lambert and Luxval were very popular. This vase is based on the models and colors of that period, but not by Val Saint Lambert. There are many similarities in the neck and hexagonal base of this vase.
The vase is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Please see the photos for more details!
