The EarChair was designed by Rianne Makkink and Jürgen Bey from the Dutch design brand Prooff (PROgressive OFFice). Studio Makkink & Bey have been working together since 2002 and their work can now be found in Center Pompidou in Paris, the Stedelijk in Amsterdam and the V&A in London, among others. Rianne Makkink and Jürgen Bey have designed for Vitra and Sketch, among others. The price is per piece! We have one in stock.
One of the characteristic features of the EarChair is its acoustic effect. Research shows that the EarChair reduces background noise by 13dB. The elongated ears of the chair create a nice isolated feeling that gives you a sense of your own space, wherever you are.
