This piece of furniture is the ultimate eye-catcher for an eclectic, vintage, or Hollywood Regency interior. What makes this armchair unique is its rare, impeccable condition. While many vintage pieces show wear after decades, this example is in absolute top condition, both visually and structurally. Upholstery: Heavy, high-quality olive green velour/velvet with a beautiful deep nap. The fabric is 100% intact all around (including the entire back!). No bald spots on the armrests, no discoloration, and no wear. Traditional Movement: Equipped with an authentic, hand-knotted internal spring system (steel coil springs) on heavy jute webbing. The seat is taut, absolutely not sagging, and offers wonderfully firm and regal comfort. Frame & Finish: Elegant, hand-carved wooden frame with refined Louis XV-style legs. Completely stable and creak-free. Sleekly finished all around with a continuous piping of classic metal decorative nails.
