An iconic PK61 coffee table designed by Poul Kjærholm and manufactured by the original producer Ejvind Kold Christensen (EKC).
The Frame: Crafted in satin-brushed spring steel, featuring the original and crisp EKC hallmark stamped directly into the leg. The frame is in exceptionally good vintage condition with only minimal rust/patina, far better than usually seen for its age.
The Stone Top: Featuring a historic, highly-figured matt honed Viscount White granite/marble top with a stunningly vibrant structure. With the appreciated unique Poul Kjærholm finish that looks and feels organic rather than cold. This is believed to be a rare, early original edition of the table.
Provenance & Details: The underside of the stone top remains raw, displaying authentic historical gang-saw marks from traditional stone processing. The top surface is in great condition with only a minor, negligible edge flick consistent with age.
A breathtaking piece of Danish mid-century design history and a rare collector's item in top condition.
