This iconic PK22 armchair was designed by Poul Kjærholm and is an early version produced by E. Kold Christensen. For collectors and enthusiasts, this is an important detail: E. Kold Christensen produced Kjærholm's designs until the early 1980s, after which production was taken over by Fritz Hansen. An example by E. Kold Christensen is therefore considered an early and sought-after collector's item. The armchair still has its original brown leather upholstery, which is a major plus. Many PK22s have been reupholstered over the years. Original upholstery is valued higher due to its authenticity and the character developed over decades.
