A splendid and rare original valet stand/floor storage unit from the 1980s, a perfect example of the Postmodern and High-Tech design movement of the period. The piece stands out for its minimalist, geometric, and rigorous aesthetic. It is made entirely of a black tubular metal frame and micro-perforated sheet metal surfaces, a visual language strongly influenced by the famous creations of the time (such as Mario Botta's designs for Alias or Marc Berthier). The piece is multifunctional and versatile: it features a main tray, a lower grid (perfect as a magazine rack or storage space), and a distinctive circular saucer, ideal as an ashtray or place to place small objects.
