This is a postmodern Chest of drawers designed by Dieter Zimmermann in 1996. The piece is a clear example of the radical design of the 1990s, characterized by its unconventional shape and bold coloring. The Chest of drawers is made of wood and shaped like a wheelbarrow. It stands on a red wooden wheel and two cream-white metal legs. The dimensions are 125 cm in width, 83 cm in height, and 60 cm in depth. The color palette includes a vibrant lime green for the body, a strong green for the top edge, and a bright red-orange for the wheel and the inside of the lid. The piece features a smooth-running drawer and a hinged lid, which is held open by an original red wooden support. This piece is in very good condition, consistent with its age and previous use. The lacquered surfaces retain their original vibrancy and show the character of the wood grain underneath.
