This Bobo side table was designed in the 1980s by Boccato, Gigante, and Zambusi for the Italian manufacturer Magis. The design is characterized by its clean, postmodern lines and striking color combination.
The table consists of a red lacquered metal frame resting on four black casters. The two square shelves are made of black plastic and can be removed if desired. The construction is typical of Italian design from this era, which combined functionality with a playful aesthetic. The underside of the shelves bears the manufacturer's and designers' logos.
The table is in good condition, with visible signs of wear consistent with its age and use. The frame is stable, and the casters function perfectly.
This piece of furniture is ideal as a versatile side table or bar cart in modern or postmodern-inspired living spaces. The bold color scheme adds a deliberate accent to any interior.
