Product description
A postmodern coffee table by Compar, an Italian manufacturer from the Venice region known for combining lacquered wood with genuine Murano glass. The white high-gloss lacquered top is split into two rectangular sections, with a central inlay of striped Murano glass in black and white, accented with gold, red and blue. The glass carries the original Vetro Artistico Murano trademark seal, confirming it was produced on the island of Murano itself, not an imitation. The base is chrome-plated steel with a tiered, open-frame structure, typical of Italian furniture from the late 20th century. The table is in good vintage condition, with the Murano glass detail fully intact; the lacquered surfaces show only minor age-related wear. A strong statement piece for lovers of Italian postmodern design, and a genuine talking point in any interior.
