Product description
This sculptural Coat rack made of black lacquered tubular steel is characterized by its distinctive cactus-like shape. The hooks, arranged at different heights and around the central column, give the Coat rack a playful, almost graphic appearance. The design combines a reduced construction with organically curved forms. Several bent steel tubes form the generous coat hooks, while the slender central column rests on a four-armed base. The individual elements are screwed together, and the Coat rack can be partially disassembled for transport and storage. The combination of black metal, visible construction, and the unusual cactus-like silhouette is characteristic of postmodern furniture and object design of the 1980s and early 1990s. Despite its sculptural appearance, the design remains functional. Condition: The Coat rack is in good vintage condition with age-related traces. There are isolated light scratches and minor paint marks on the black lacquered metal surface, corresponding to the age of the piece. Dimensions: D50 x H170 cm
