This Portuguese ceramic pitcher leaves no doubt about its former owner's passion: the body depicts a football in relief, and the neck proudly displays the S.L. Benfica crest, one of Portugal's most successful clubs, accompanied by the inscription "Portugal". The deep brown and black glaze, typical of popular Portuguese ceramics, gives the piece a warm and authentic look. The football's relief is finely molded, with its characteristic, well-defined pentagons. The Benfica crest (eagle, shield, SLB inscription) is engraved in relief on the textured neck. This type of item was produced in Portugal as a souvenir or fan gift, from the 1960s to 1980s, during a period when Benfica was at the pinnacle of European football (two European Cups, 1961 and 1962).
