This dish catches the eye. On the ivory white porcelain, a branch of chrysanthemums unfurls with a rare graphic elegance: mauve and purple flowers with finely detailed petals, pale yellow centers, graphite grey foliage with almost silvery reflections. The drawing is remarkably precise. Each petal is rendered with care, each leaf bears its veins. This type of high-quality transfer decoration, characteristic of European production from the 1950s-1970s, achieved a level of finesse that few manufacturers were capable of offering. The scalloped shape, highlighted by a thin gold rim that runs all around the edge, gives the piece its character. Both understated and precious. The dish measures 28 cm in diameter, a generous size that gives it a real presence. One can imagine it in an open display cabinet, between two white pieces, where the mauves of the chrysanthemum and the gold rim catch the light. One can also imagine it on a carefully set table, where it would become the piece that guests notice and comment on. On the reverse, the gold stamp "Euro Porcelaine Import" attests to its origin. Impeccable condition, without chips or restoration. Luminous porcelain, intact gold rim.
