Beautiful hand-woven tapestry from Poland, designed by textile artist H. Sułkowska for the renowned Polish manufacturer ZWW (Zakopane). The work is named “Puszcza”, Polish for jungle — and that is exactly what you see: lush, organic forms in deep green, red, orange, and black, delineated by expressive dark contours.
This is not a mass-produced item, but a signed work of art from the golden age of Polish textile art. The original label is still fully intact on the tapestry. A beautiful statement piece.
