This exceptional pair of vintage Pod Chairs combines the natural charm of finely crafted wicker with the delicate lightness of a black lacquered metal frame. The characteristic shell-shaped seat provides a relaxed lounge position and gives the chairs their sculptural presence. With their harmonious combination of organic materials and clear metal construction, they embody the zeitgeist of the 1960s and 1970s and fit equally well into mid-century, boho, or modern living concepts.
The spacious seat shells were handcrafted from high-quality wicker in a traditional manner. The finely crafted wickerwork with its distinctive, circumferential finish testifies to high artisanal quality and gives each chair a warm, natural appeal. The delicate metal frame creates an exciting contrast to the lively wicker and makes the spacious seat shells appear to almost float.
The offered pair is in excellent original condition. The wickerwork is completely intact, stable, and without damage.
