Product description
A very charming, endearing plaster bust of a child's head on a wooden base with patina.
This figurine dates from around 1930-1950 and has a typical interwar aesthetic: calming, introspective, and in this case, particularly endearing and charming.
These figurines were often made of plaster, the ideal material for study heads and portrait busts.
The green patina applied to suggest an oxidized bronze appearance is a common technique from this period.
It is signed 'Hélène' at the bottom of the base, presumably after the model or the maker.
A timeless addition to any interior. Simply a beautiful piece.
The figurine is in very good vintage condition with some signs of wear due to its age, which in this case contribute to its charming appearance.
