This piece of furniture is a mahogany plant table or pedestal (also historically designed as a washstand or wedge stand) in classic English George III or Victorian style.
Material: Made of solid, warm-colored mahogany.
Legs and stiles: The upper level rests on three characteristic twisted spindles (barley twist). The lower legs are elegantly curved in a so-called cabriole style.
Construction: The furniture has a three-legged base (tripod). In the center is a triangular body with two small functional drawers stacked on top of each other.
