Product description
Rare Lounge Chair model PK24 (also known as Hammock Chair) designed by Poul Kjærholm for Fritz Hansen in 1965, Denmark. This particular example was manufactured in 1988. The design of this iconic lounge chair is inspired by the French chaise longue, translated into Danish minimalism.
The chair consists of separate elements that together form a fluid and harmonious whole: the steel base, the steel frame woven with rattan, and the black leather neck support. This combination of rattan, leather, and steel is typical of Kjærholm's sculptural and timeless designs. The PK24 offers ultimate comfort thanks to the adjustable cushion and the organic shape of the bed.
