Large model Pipistrello lamp in the original Testa di Moro color — unused NOS piece with dimmable LED.
Original Pipistrello 620 lamp by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce, finished in the rare and historical Testa di Moro color. This deep dark-brown lacquer was the original shade chosen by Aulenti in 1965, making this version one of the most collectible and iconic.
This is the large model with adjustable height (66–86 cm) and the factory-installed dimmable LED module.
The lamp is in New Old Stock (NOS) condition: unused, unhandled, and unboxed only for inspection and photography. The diffuser, telescopic stainless-steel stem, lacquered base and electrical components show no visible signs of use.
The Pipistrello 620 is a major piece of Italian design and appears in the permanent design collections of leading museums (MoMA, The Met). The Testa di Moro + LED + NOS combination is extremely desirable for collectors.
